This cottage has 1 x bedroom / Twin or Double, one Bathroom - In keeping with the design and flow of the architecture at Aquila, the Standard Luxury Cottages do not compromise the experience nor standard. Each has its own patio, corner bath and outdoor rock shower. Cottages are equipped with mini bars (on request), all rooms have air conditioning, and feature “coal" stoves for that extra bit of warmth and cosiness in the colder months.
Aquila's four-star cottages are built largely from rock, thatch and wood to blend with the environment and offer every comfort like roaring log fires, air conditioning, crisp percale linen, rock bathrooms and, in some, alfresco rock showers and in some cases wooden viewing decks.

Below is the loft section of the Luxury Family Cottages. In the 8 x sleeper Luxury Family Cottage there is 4 x singles in the loft area.
Karoo Luxury Family Cottages:
These units are semi detached with attention paid to privacy. Units are equipped with mini bars, tea and coffee making facilities and feature indoor fireplaces for that extra bit of warmth and cosiness in the colder months. They are under thatch and feature exterior stone work using raw materials from the area. The large en-suite bathrooms feature corner baths with outdoor showers.
Aquila's four-star cottages are built largely from rock, thatch and wood to blend with the environment and offer every comfort like roaring log fires, air conditioning, crisp percale linen, rock bathrooms and, in some, alfresco rock showers and in some cases wooden viewing decks.
1st MAY 2024 - 31st OCT 2024 - Luxuary Family Cottage
These units are semi-detached and are situated in close proximity to the children’s play area. Units are equipped with mini bars (on request), tea and coffee making facilities and feature indoor fireplaces for that extra bit of warmth and cosiness in the colder months. They are under thatch and feature exterior stone work using raw materials from the area. Children sleep tucked away under the eaves in a charming loft area overlooking the main bedroom below. 4 or 8 x Sleeper Cottages. Activity Includes: 2 x Big 5 game drives, lunch, dinner & breakfast per overnight stay
Family Cottages sleep up to eight people. Not compromising on luxury, quality percale linen is used throughout. Chalets are snug and leisurely, and were made with the outdoors in mind. Each of the cottages have a loft section ideal for families as seen above.

The entrance to the passageway may be locked (as can both bedrooms) forming a private and safe place for families. Consists of a Premier Room and a Standard Room interconnecting through a passageway. Activity Includes: 2 x Big 5 game drives, lunch, dinner & breakfast per overnight stay

The min age is 16 years or older for this option. Please note that the max weight for the horse back safari option is 95kg. You don’t need to be an experience horse rider as the horse ride is quite gentle. The max weight for the quad bike is 110kg
